I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
+ Get a general view about Van Cao’s music.
+ Use some words and phrase related to music.
+ Listen for general and specific information about music.
+ Take notes while listening.
+ Exchange opinions and talk about Van Cao’s music.
2. Skills: 
- Listening: listen and decide on true or false statements and the answers of questions.
- Speaking : Make a discussion related to music.

 - Students may have difficulties when they present their opinions about Van Cao’s music.

Introduce new lesson: Today,
we’ll listen to the tape to get
some information about Van
Cao – a famous musician of
Vietnam. That is the topic of the lesson today.
