TEACHING AIDS - Teacher: Textbook, computer, internet connection -Student: Student’s book, workbook, pen, pencil, mobile devices - Online meeting: MS Team, Tabs of Ms Team, Channel on MS Team - Tools: Sachmem.vn, Quizlet, Poll, Flipgrid, Kahoot, PowerPoint, Quizizz III. PROCEDURES 1. Warm up (5 mins) a/ Aim: Visualize what the topic is and supply the background knowledge b/ Content: Finish the task and presentation c/ Outcome: Student’s anwer about their own activities for their learning - Organization: + Teacher ask student to finish the Poll on MS Teams about the device they are using for their self-learning + Student fill in the poll about the device they are using + Teacher then asks students how it affects foreign language study. Student’s answers may vary, which helps the teacher lead to the new lesson. + Teacher consolidates and gives feedback 2. Presentation (10 mins) a/ Aim: Elicit new words, supply structures and grammarical knowledge b/ Content: Finish the task and presentation c/ Outcome: Expected answers - Teacher shows lessons through screen and ask students to look through the passage and read on their book. - Teacher shares on MS Team the link of the study set, so that students can learn the key vocabulary at home before the lesson. - The teacher will open the file on Quizizz and send the link to the students and the students will have a test to see who can answer the most correctly through the knowledge that the teacher has previewed at home. d/ Organization - Teacher uses to or PDF file to show the requirement, - Ask student to look through the passage and read - Help students read the passage \ - Explain pronunciation and meaning of new words which appear in the passage *Task 1 (10mins): - Teachers design exercises through the ''Exercise'' application on MS Team and then submit them - The teacher sets the time to do the test in 10 minutes - Students will receive assignment notifications then proceed to do their homework and upload their assignments to the system - The teacher will check and evaluate *Task 2 (10 mins): - Teacher asks students to answers the following questions - Ask students look through the passages then try to answer the questions in right way - Student work individually to find the main idea of the passage - Teacher calls randomly on class 2 – 3 students to give their answer and explanation; call other students to give feedback - Help students if necessary - Teacher gives the answers and feedback to students. *After you read (10 mins): - The teacher divides the class into groups using the grouping tool according to the image below: - After dividing into groups, the teacher will assign tasks and ask groups to do exercises - Students do the Task 3 in 10 mins to compare their answer with other groups and discuss and correct for one another - Teacher gives the answers and feedback to students. 3. Application (assigned as homework) (5 mins) a/ Aim: Use languages to practice and show their opinion about the new ways to learn at hoem on Flipgrid with the rubric b/ Content: Finish the task and presentation c/ Outcome: Ask student to close their books *Give presentation to answer question: - Ask students to learn by heart the new words * Self study * Develop communication or interaction skills * Learn from facts/failure. d/ Organization: - Teacher assigns tasks to students - Students perform the task at home - Student submit their products or make preserntations on “Bai Tap” on the MS Team. Teacher evaluates comments. Other studetns in the class share their Exercises on MS Teams. - Teacher gives feedback by giving the comment. Skills Improving speaking skill through 3 tasks prescribed in the textbook. II. TEACHING AIDS - Teacher: Textbook, computer, internet connection -Student: Student’s book, workbook, pen, pencil, mobile devices - Online meeting: MS Team, Tabs of Ms Team, Channel on MS Team - Tools: Sachmem.vn, Quizlet, Poll, Flipgrid, Kahoot, PowerPoint, Quizizz III. PROCEDURES 1. Presentation (10 mins) a/ Aim: Sts can match the words, give the correct answers b/ Content: Finish the task and presentation c/ Outcome: Expected answers - Asks sts to study the questions in the interview carefully and work in pairs. - Ask some sts to give their answers in front of the class - Listen and give the correct answers - Ask sts to work in pairs and carry out the interview using the right questions. d/ Organization - Teacher uses to or PDF file to show the requirement, - Ask student to look through the passage and read - Help students read the passage \ - Explain pronunciation and meaning of new words which appear in the passage *Task 1 (10mins): - - Asks sts to study the questions in the interview carefully and work in pairs. - Ask some sts to give their answers in front of the class. - Listen and give the correct answers. - Ask sts to work in pairs and carry out the interview using the right questions. *Task 2 (10 mins): - Teacher asks students to answers the following questions - Ask students look through the passages then try to answer the questions in right way - Student work individually to find the main idea of the passage - Teacher calls randomly on class 2 – 3 students to give their answer and explanation; call other students to give feedback - Help students if necessary - Teacher gives the answers and feedback to students. *Task 3 (10 mins): - Ask some sts to tell the whole class what they know about their partner using the notes from the interview. - Ask other sts to listen to their classmates and comment on presenters’ work. - Listen and make necessary corrections. 3. Application (assigned as homework) (5 mins) a/ Aim: Use languages to practice and show their opinion about the new ways to learn at hoem on Flipgrid with the rubric b/ Content: Finish the task and presentation c/ Outcome: Ask student to close their books *Give presentation to answer question: - Write a paragraph about their partner’s study at school (about 150 words) * Self study * Develop communication or interaction skills * Learn from facts/failure. d/ Organization: - Teacher assigns tasks to students - Students perform the task at home - Student submit their products or make preserntations on “Bai Tap” on the MS Team. Teacher evaluates comments. Other studetns in the class share their Exercises on MS Teams. - Teacher gives feedback by giving the comment.
